Need Food

Boundaries:
Each Food Bank in New Brunswick is assigned a specific territory. The Second Mile Food Bank services all of Dieppe. And, in Moncton all areas southeast of the railroad tracks.

If you live within these boundaries, then please visit us. If you live outside these boundaries, you can call us at 857-9121 and we will advise you which Food Bank services your area.

When Can I Come?
Families or individuals who need assistance can visit us on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday between the hours of 10:00 am and 11:45 pm. (Please note we are closed the first seven days of each month and all Statutory holidays.)   Please note: if schools are cancelled due to a winter storm, the Food Bank is also closed.

No appointment is necessary.

My First Visit - What Do I Need To Bring?
 - Medicare card (for you and each member of your family)
 - Proof of Address

 An application will be completed with you. You will then meet with the Assistant Manager, or Manager to review your financial information in order to determine if you are eligible to receive food.

What Can I Expect?

If you are eligible, you can visit the Food Bank once a month. (Depending on your financial status you may be eligible to receive food twice a month)

 You will receive enough food for 15 meals per person each month to help you and your family. 

Please note:  each time you visit us, you are required to bring both your Medicare Card and proof of address.
